European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation invites representatives of non-governmental organizations, members of informal groups of young people, representatives of local self-government, the institution's staff working with young people, volunteers and young people from the Lublin region for training on the EU programme "Youth in Action".
In couple of days young representatives of two partner organizations from Poland and Italy will meet for the II international meeting within the project Youth4Youth that is realizing under Action 1.3 of the "Youth in Action" programme
The Regional Centre for European Information will officially openen on December 9, 2011. The Regional Centre for European Information is located in Gdansk at Szeroka Street 80/81, occupying the ground floor of Old Town building.
Unflagging interest in the Polish presidency in the council of the European Union among young people. The debate on Polish Presidency took place on 22th of November 2011 in School No. 1 in Krasnystaw.
This was already the III conference of the Platform of Young Workers functioning in the frames of EZA (European Centre for Workers` Questions). Conferences are held every two years, this year for the first time in Poland (before: in Brussels and Porto). Young representatives of trade unions, workers` organizations and NGOs exchanged their experiences working in three working groups as well as discussing on forum and listening to speeches of invited guests.
Between 3rd - 10th November in European Meeting Centre in Nasutow we hosted about 20 young leaders and volunteers from Poland, Greece, Romania, Italy, Latvia, Portugal and Estonia on international training course "Acting Youth"
Nowy Staw Foundation is a member of an international Platform of Young Workers functioning in the frames of EZA (European Centre for Workers` Questions). Between 17-20 November in Zegrze by/Warsaw we organize a conference of this Platform.
Between 3rd - 10th November in European Meeting Centre in Nasutow an international training course for youth leaders, entitled Acting Youth, will be held. It is another meeting organized within multimeasure project.
The Polish-German project took place in Nasutow (near Lublin) between 23rd and 29th October. The project concerned the economic situation both in Poland and in Germany. Students from the High School no 1 in Lublin and students from OSZ Bürowirtschaft und Dienstleistungen school in Berlin took part in this project.
The Polish-German- Dance-Workshops took place in Blossin between 7th and 14th October. The youth full of energy and enthusiasm had a possibility to work with young people of the same age from the neighbouring country and create a common choreography.
Between 9-15 October we organized a training course for young trade unionists from Poland, Spain and Portugal. The topic of the course was ethics in work and trade union activities.

Eastern Partnership Culture Congress was held from 21 till 23 October 2011 in the former garages in Lublin and the Mercure Hotel.
Study visit, realized within Action 3.1 of "Youth in action" program will be held between 15th - 20th October in European Meeting Centre in Nasutow. 16 participants from countries such as: Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Estonia, Italy and Poland will take part in this project.
Between 24th - 30th September in European Meeting Centre in Nasutow an international Training Course "Activate Youth" took place. It was the first meeting realized within multimeasure project "Towards active participation".

The Polish-German-Lithuanian Dance-Workshops will take place in Blossin between 7th and 14th October.
In connection with the celebration of European Year of Volunteering 2011, in the beautiful scenery of the Lublin Old Town Urban Family Welfare Centre in Lublin and the Catholic Association of assisting the needy "AGAPE" organized a festival "Enrich yourself by helping others."
Between 28th October and 1th November the Polish-German specialized training will take place. The training concerns such topics as group building, group phases and group dynamic as well as the role of trainer in work with a group.
Nowy Staw Foundation is a partner in an international cycle of trainings for young trade union leaders from Poland, Spain, Portugal and Italy. The course organized by the Foundation runs from 9th until 15th of October. Its topic is ethics in work and trade union activities.
Over 50 teachers and pupils from 19 schools were trained within the project "Youth entrepreneurship". A lot of schools were interested to take part in the project.
Between 4th - 14th September European Meeting Centre in Nasutow hosted Polish minor community youth from the east, participating in Poland withing "Volunteering across the borders" project. 36 young representatives of Polish schools, institutions and associations from Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova and Russia participated in this event. It is for the third time when European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation organizes such an event.
Apart from organizing the educational path "Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union", we organized an art competition for children. The organizers of the competition were Polish National Bank Regional Branch in Lublin, Lublin Voivodeship Office and the Regional Centre of European Information in Lublin.
Memorandum on future youth policy and future of European Youth Programmes was the main outcome of the 6th Economic Forum of Young Leaders. The Forum organized by our Foundation took place between 6th and 10th September in Nowy Sącz.
Since September 2011 European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation is a Training Centre for Youth in Action Programme for Mazowieckie Region. This is our second training centre after one in Lublin, established in 2007.
In the beginning of September Labour Market Institute starts to implement a new project under the European Social Fund. Within the "Future te@cher" project we offer new technologies and distance learning trainings for professional education teachers in Łodzkie Region. Project will be realized until 31.07.2012
On September 1st we started the realization of a new project in the Podlaskie Region: "Time for activity". The project is realized under the European Social Fund.
Activate Youth training course is organized in order to gather youth workers from partner countries such as: Italy, Estonia, Greece, Portugal, Latvia, Romania, Lithuania and Poland and gain some new knowledge about activating young people in their work.
The final effect of week-long work of young artists from Poland, Turkey, Latvia, Hungary and Bulgaria was the performance that took place on 8th of July in H. Ch. Andersen’s Theatre in Lublin. During the show participants presented creative activities, which were possible to be worked out thanks to intercultural dialogue and common passion.
From 14 - 21 September in Nasutow near Lublin will be held the second international meeting as a continuation of the previous meeting of young leaders from Poland and Italy. The meeting’s light motive is be peer education and mobilization of young people to act in their local communities.
What happens with Europe? this is the main theme of the 6th Economic Forum of Young Leaders, which our Foundation organizes in Nowy Sącz. The Forum starts on Tuesday, 6th of September. More than 250 leaders from 37 European countries were accredited to participate in this event.
Forum's mission: we create ideas for the future of Europe
We are offering young generation an opportunity to speak out and express themselves not only among European elite but also among general public with the help of new media. It is our objective for this Forum to open young people’s minds to creative thinking, ambitions and to inspire them to act together. In the future Forum will become a think-tank of young leaders.
The Forum facilitates discussion and reflection on vital problems and challenges of modern Europe, the role of young generation in on-going economical transformations on the Eurasian continent. The Program of the Forum involves panel discussions, workshops, national presentations of organisations, exhibitions as well as meetings aimed at getting acquainted with Polish culture.
Today, Forum is becoming one of the most important international events for the young.
On the 31st of August 2011 we finished with huge success another international exchange -BE ECO!

We are delighted to inform that the "Open-Independent-Active" project has just finished. This project was carried out with the support of the European Social Fund and was addressed to unemployed women living in Ostrołęka region.

On 26 August 2011 in the Banquet Hall of the Hotel Ambassador in Rzeszow the summary gathering for the project "Working Graduate" was held.
First international meeting, with young leaders from Poland and Italy, took place between 9th - 16th of August in Pesaro, Italy. The main topic of the meeting was peer education as well as activating young people to taking up activeness in their local communities. We are seeking for outstanding and experienced trainers for the nationwide schools of trainers.
"BE ECO" is an international youth exchange taking place from 24th till 31st of August in Nasutow in Poland. There will be participants from 4 different countries from Europe. The project consists of ecological workshops, integration, recording video and theatre activities. The main aim is to give young people opportunity to gain and share their knowlege about being ecological in every day life.
The polish Presidency in the EU Council was an inspiration of this year’s action "Summer with Central Bank" in Lublin in cooperation with Regional Centre for European Information in Lublin and the Lublin Region Office. We organized more than 50 meetings.
First workshops of the Polish group has just finishedt within "Youth4Youth" project. The whole project is co-funded by the "Youth in Action" programme. Project will be lasting till March 2012 and is composed of two international meetings, workshops for Polish group and activating workshops for young people from Lublin region.

Friends and former students celebrated 50th anniversary of father’s Ludwik Wiśniewski priesthood. The dominican for years has served God and Homeland leading priesthoods in Gdansk, Lublin, Wrocław and Sankt Petersburg. For many people father has become the authority, guide and friend who played an important role in their private, professional and social life.

This year the meeting is entitled: "Voluntary work across the boarders" - it’s subject will be related to European Year of Voluntary Work. It takes place between 2nd - 12th September 2011 in Nasutow, Lublin, Nowy Sącz and Krakow.

"Open Sounds" is an international youth exchange taking place from 28th June till 7th of July in Nasutow in Poland. There will be participants from 4 different countries from Europe. The main subject is music and audiovisual creation. The project contains of musical workshops, integration, rehearsing music video and theatre activities. The main aim is to give young people experience and opportunity to take part of creating music.

Congress of the European School Clubs was this year dedicated to the European Year of Volunteering. It took place in the Blue Hall of the Provincial Office in Lublin.
We already know the winners of the artistic competition presenting the specificity of Lubelskie Region in the European Union. We received 86 contributions!
At the beginning of June three EVS volunteers, Beline from France, Salome from Georgia and Paula from Estonia are coming to Lublin where in its host organization, Nowy Staw Foundation will be realizing European Voluntary Service project lasting 9 months.
After 9 months of work, on 1st of June activities within the project "Career of young people in your hands" completed. The project was attended by 144 teachers who participated in activities relating to career counseling, prevention and the use of modern tools in teaching.
Four initiatives of social economy which have won in a competition organized by the project "TOGETHER!" after the Easter and long weekend join the active realization of their dreams. Advisors of social economy – Grzegorz Grządziel and Agata Gawlik - are supporting these four winners. Due to the forthcoming Polish Presidency of the Council of EU on 13 April 2011 at the Auditorium of the Institute of European Studies at the Catholic University of Lublin, we organized a conference "Opportunities and Challenges of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The Polish-German-Ukrainian media workshops took place in Nasutów between 14th and 21st April, which concerned the topic -ways out of poverty.
A simulation of congregation of the Counsil of the European Union was organized under the project “Presidency at fingertips” with is cofinansed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Transnational student’s seminar will Take place in Lublin between 6th – 11th May 2011. The seminar is directed to active students from Latvia, Turkey, Greece, Romania and Italy.

Europe Direct – Lublin Information Point organized a training for students of last courses, graduates as well as unemployed people about how to start up a business and how to get money from EU for this purpose.
In April we will launch an interactive contest of knowledge about the Presidency.
Four of the groups from the project Working graduate have already finished their vocational workshops. Currently all of the participants of the project are actively looking for a possible place to complete their 3-month internship in.
According to the timetable in March completed the next phase of the project "Career of young people in your hands". Thus came to an end training on prevention and counseling at both levels.

Between 10th and 14th January the last workshops under the “Transfer of know-how on professional counseling for young people" project took place in Nasutow near Lublin. They gathered together 45 participants from Poland, Ukraine and Belarus.

With the New Year European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation prepared a new offer for volunteers. European Meeting House in Nasutow had once again the opportunity to host between 12.27.2010 and 01.03.2011 participants from international exchange of New Year's Eve "United in Diversity - multicultural Lublin."
