YEAR 2011 NEWS

A simulation of congregation of the Counsil of the European Union was organized under the project “Presidency at fingertips” with is cofinansed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Simulation was held on 14th April 2011 The project was designed for secondary school students from the Lublin province.

The aim of the contest was to raise the level of  practical skills of discussion, rhetoric, and argumentation, and to promote knowledge about the Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the general mobilization of young people and preparing them to participate in social life.

The theme of the simulation was "The financial perspective 2014 - 2020. ". Students worked in groups of three, they played by the role of representatives of European institutions and states. First place was taken by students from  Biłgoraj, second by pupils from Lublin, and a third by students from Puławy.

Substantive and organizational support for the project was provided by the Regional Centre for European Information in Lublin.
