EUROPEAN MEETING CENTRE - NOWY STAW FOUNDATION
First international meeting, with young leaders from Poland and Italy, took place between 9th - 16th of August in Pesaro, Italy. The main topic of the meeting was peer education as well as activating young people to taking up activeness in their local communities. European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation was the organizer of the meeting.
The meeting was organized in frames of longer project entitled "Youth 4 Youth", which was initiated by informal youth group "The chosen ones" and has been realized in cooperation with European Meeting Centre and partner from Italy.
It was the second activity realized within this project. During the meeting in Pesaro Polish group presented the main idea of the project to partners, groups jointly prepared workshops regarding issues such as:
During the Project participants visited also town’s library where Youth Information Centre is working. During the meeting in the Centre young people had the chance to familiarize with specifics of this place and observe the work of workers giving youth information. Another, very interesting point in the program, was meeting in Town Hall in Pesaro, where young people meet with Marco Perugini - city councilor.
Flashmob organized on the streets of Pesaro, during which participants were encouraging to being active, giving colorful balloons with note "You help - we smile" was the culmination point of the meeting.
The second international meeting will take place between 14th - 21st September in European Meeting Centre In Nasutow.
