We invite you to participate in an interactive knowledge contest about the Presidency. The competition is designed for junior high school students and the schools of Lublin Province. Students of those schools can register on our website (www.prezydencja2011.org), and after that will be able to participate in the contest.
The aim of the competition is to raise awareness among junior high school students and secondary schools students from the province of Lublin about the Polish membership in the European Union in the context of the upcoming Polish Presidency. In addition, the competition is to familiarize participants with the priorities of Polish Presidency, and increase their knowledge of European Union countries.
Each of the participants will fill single choice test consisting of 15 questions of a very similar degree of difficulty. Student registration on the website is the under knowledge of his tutor from school or the European School Club. The test includes topics: the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Polish Presidency priorities, as well as basic knowledge about the European Union and European Union countries.
The proper conduct of the Competition will be ensured by the jury, consisting of three people: the representative of the Board of Education in Lublin, a representative of the Regional Centre for European Information in Lublin and the Europe Direct - Lublin.

and is supported by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
