European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation invites representatives of non-governmental organizations, members of informal groups of young people, representatives of local self-government, the institution's staff working with young people, volunteers and young people from the Lublin region for training on the programme of the European Commission - "Youth in Action".
A project addressed to people working in agriculture, who want to retrain and acquire a new profession, occured to be very popular. Another groups begin their participation in the project. Few last places are waiting for volunteers.
In November was held the first training for two groups. Training on "Vocational Guidance - Advanced Level" and "Vocational Guidance - basic level" held in Dal Hotel in Kielce.
European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation, Labor Market Institute, Office of the project “ OPEN - INDEPENDENT –ACTIVE” in Ostrołęka have been invited to present the project as a good practice during a seminar titled “Mum can do anything” organized by the Mazowiecka Implementation of EU Programmes Unit - Department in Ostrołęka.
On November 30th, 2010 enrolment for the project “Working graduate” was concluded. Schooling groups were formed.
On 2nd December Europe Direct – Lublin Information Point orginized a training about possibilities of gaining european funds for entrepreneurs form Lubelskie Region. The training was held in Lublin in the conference hall of NOT.
Between 14.11-20.11.2010 in the European Meeting Centre in Nasutów youth from Lublin and Berlin participated for the first time in the german-polish youth exchange about development and employment opportunities for young people in Poland and Germany.

The Week was being organized for the 85th time. This year it hosted around 4000 participants, among them there were 50 Polish ones. It was dedicated to the issue of immigration and took place in Parc Floral in Paris.

On 3-4 of November Europe Direct – Lublin Information Point organized a training called” Youth Entrepreneurship”. The participants were students from high schools and their teachers.
This exchange is addressed to the young people from Lublin and Berlin. During the polish-german exchange which will be held from the 14th till the 20th of November 2010 participants will have the opportunity to compare development and employment opportunities for young people in Poland and Germany.
Over 120 young people from Lublin region participated from 28th till 30th October in the workshops preparing them to present their opinions during the youth debate under the slogan "Outcast youth …".
Between 07.11.-13.11.2010. in the European Meeting Centre in Nasutów will be held a Polish-German youth exchange about the economic situation in Germany and Poland with particular emphasis on the Polish and German labor market.
Between 28th – 30th October 2010 in Lublin, 3rd Youth Debate entitled: „Young – excluded …?” is going to be held. The debate is for young people from Lublin Region, in the age between 15 – 19 years old.
Between 11th and 15th of October a study visit within „Transfer know-how on professional counseling for young people” is taking place in Drammen, Norway. There are representants of project’s leader – European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation and partners: Voluntary Work Centre, Western Ukrainian Resource Centre from Lvov and Lesia Ukrainka University from Luck taking part in it.
Between the 1-st and 8-th of October 2010 at the European Meeting in Nasutów near Lublin were held Polish-German-Belarusian media workshops "Online journalism." We invite all interested people to take part in the French Social Week in Paris 26-28 November 2010. The main subject is migration. This is already the 85 th session of the week.
Last week many young people signed up for the project “ Working graduate”. More and more people are signing up to the project, however there is less and less room in the courses.
Our project “OPEN-INDEPENDENT-ACTIVE”, implemented in Ostrołęka region, was presented on 2nd Job Fair “ Without Barriers”, which took place on 30th September 2010 in Ostrołeka.

On 1st of July Poland is taking over the leadership in the Council of the European Union. In connection with this fact Europe Direct – Lublin Information Point together with Regional Centre for European Information organized a working meeting of institutions interested in promoting the Presidency in the Lubelskie Region.

Between 13-17 September 2010 study visit to Ukraine took place. People involved in a project took part in it – representatives of partners and project’s leader.
Vacation time was more conducive to the implementation of international projects in the European Meeting Centre in Nasutów near Lublin, and those were mainly youth exchanges and trainings. Youth involved in the projects had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through active participation in international projects thanks to financial support of their ideas by the EU programme "Youth in Action”. On 9-15 September 2010 in the Meeting House in Nasutów took place the second part of the international meeting of young people from partner cities of Lublin and Münster. Both groups are winners of the polish-german competition "Poles and Germans on the way to a common future in peace and freedom." Young german and poles has already meet on the first part of Münster, and now they had the opportunity to strengthen their friendships.

Labour Market Institute has began a new project in the province of Świętokrzyskie since the 1-st of September. The project “Back to Work!” is implemented under the Human Capital Programme (Measure 6.1.1) under a contract signed by the Provincial Labour Office in Kielce.
On 14th of September the awards ceremony for the winners of the polish-german competition took place in the Crown Court in Lublin.
“Together!- An initiative for the social economy" is a new project carried out by Labour Market Institute in Świętokrzyskie province. Based on information gathered from consultants of Post-accession Rural Support Program, will be selected 12 communes of Świętokrzyskie province. These 12 communes will be supported within the Project.
On September 1st we started the realization of a new project in the Subcarpathian province: “Working Graduate”. The project is realized under the European Social Found.
Over 250 young leaders from 32 countries of the European Union, Eastern Europe and Caucasus as well as several dozen of VIP from politics, business and science with Richard Pipes (professor, Harvard Univeristy), Maros Sefcovic (Vice-president of the European Commission), Janusz Lewandowski (European Commissioner), Vaira Vike-Freiberga (former president of Latvia), Esko Aho (Vice-president of Nokia Corporation) and Luc Frieden (Minister of Finance of Luxembourg) among many others came to Nowy Sacz to discuss the future of Europe during Economic Forum of Young Leaders.
Between 13 - 17 September will be a study visit in Ukraine. The visit will be attended by persons involved in the project, representatives of partners and project leader.
Polish youth community abroad meeting is going to be held in European Meeting Centre in Nasutow near Lublin between 3rd-13th September 2010. 36 youth leaders, representing Polish institutions, organizations, associations from Lithuana, Belarus and Ukraine are going to participate in this event.

The international exchange of youth is starting on 22nd August 2010 in Nasutowo. Young people from Belarus , Germany , Poland and Ukraine are going to talk about the history of their countries and its impact on the contemporary relationships in Europe.

An international youth exchange entitled: “Cartoons connecting people” is going to be held between 17th – 26th 2010 in Nasutów, near Lublin. During 9 days of project youth from 6 countries will be working on common theatrical performance, which will be presented at the end of the exchange in Mother Theresa from Calcuta House for Elderly in Lublin.
Between 9-15 of September the second part of the polish-german youth exchange will take place. The participants are persons who gained the competition commemorizing the begin of the II world war. The participation in the exchange is the prize in the competition.

On 24.07-30.07.2010 in the House – Meeting Centre in Nasutów took place Polish-German youth exchange. The theme of the meeting was "Breaking stereotypes through the street dance." The project involved a group of dancers from „Etezja” from the District House of Culture Bronowice in Lublin and the participants of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) in Berlin.
A new project titled: „OPEN-INDEPENDENT-ACTIVE” by the European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation and Labour Market Institute has just started since 1st August 2010. It is being implemented within the area of the town Ostrołęka and Ostrołęka county. The goal of the project is to raise unemployed women’s activity on the labour market within the area of the project. The project office is based in Ostrołęka. The project is implemented within the frames of the European Social Fund.
With the beginning of August the Labour Market Institute has started another project in the Swietokrzyskie province: „Young’s career in Your hands”. This project will support the Staff of junior high schools, secondary schools and trade schools. Project will end 31.05.2011.
Training course entitled “Great communication – challenge in youth work” is going to be held between 1st – 7th August 2010 in Nasutów, near Lublin. It brings together youth leaders and workers in order to improve their communication skills and comptences by gaining practical knowledge about communication styles with focus on Betzvata method.

Our victory 600 years later is the title of the project which will take place in Nasutów near Lublin from the 11th to the 17th of July. During those days will exchange youngsters from Lituania and Poland. The aim of the project is to prepare the historical show, which will be performed in the centre of Old Town in Lublin (Plac po farze) in the midday on the day of Anniversary of Grunwald Battle.

On 27.05-2.06.2010 group of young people from the Lublin Gymnasium No. 24 participated in the Polish- German youth meeting in Münster.

On 24 of June in Brussels a conference entitled Europe comm – civil media for Europe will take place to end a 2-year long project, within which we created a pogram of vocational training MediaTrener.

Within this project a promotional campaign of information and lifelong learning in school is currently running. In 2009 European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation in the frames of European Voluntary Service (EVS) - Action 2 European Commission Youth in Action Programme sent 15 young people to different European countries.
„Family hope for Europe” was a main topic of the VIII Gniezno Convention which was co- organised by our Foundation. Among the guests there were President Kaczyński and Prof. Bartoszewski.
On 10th of March the Institute of Labour Market held a conference summarizing the project "Working graduate”.
Volunteers from European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation thanks to the financial support of the “Youth in Action" programme implement a project of the international youth exchange which main objective is to integrate young people from different European countries by the use of various types of art.
Within the "Youth in Action" programme, artetherapeutical youth exchange project will take place in Nasutow near Lublin from 2nd till 11th March 2010. Young people from Portugal, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Italy and Poland will take part in it. Series of workshops will give them opportunity to gain various manual skills, such as photography or plastic arts. However, the core of those classes will be to equip them with creativity, frankness and strenghten their self-confidence.
A youth debate to the topic „Is it worth to study in Lublin?”, on-line program in the internet television, film reportage and multimedia webblog – these are work results of participants from Akademia Złota 9 within the media camp.
From 23rd till 27th of February a study visit for professional counselors from Ukraine, Belarus, Norway and Poland took place. During this visit the participants visited institutions dealing with professional counseling in Lublin and Zamość.
On 22nd of February the opening conference of the project "Transfer of know-how on professional counseling for young people” took place in the Hotel Unia in Lublin. The aim of the project is to improve the qualifications of professional counselors from Poland, Ukraine and Belarus through the transfer of the methods of professional counseling for young people between 4 countries: Poland, Norway, Belarus and Ukraine.
At the end of February 2010 to the Nowy Staw Foundation arrive two foreign volunteers, where they will implement their EVS project within Action 2 - European Voluntary Service of the European Union programme o "Youth in Action".

The project will take place until March 2011.
Starting on 1 February to 31 October 2010 at the Institute of Labor Market will be implemented the project "Information-Education-a better future." The project in its main premise will promote the idea of lifelong learning in the Lublin region. Key activities planned in the project will be directed to adults interested in increasing their education within the school. They will be able to benefit from the point of information and advisory base of continuing education centers, consulting with a professional counselor, psychologist, as well as participate in educational fairs.
Jury has selected the winners of the polish-german competition. We received 8 works in a very different form: newspaper, essay, movie, radio broadcast, poster and Power Point presentation.
Like every year Polish and German partners will have the opportunity to make new contacts and preparation of projects already planned. In addition, the congress participants will have the opportunity to talk with the staff of the German Federation for Cultural Youth Education and the Polish-German Youth Office on the proposals and funded projects.

European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation invites representatives of non-governmental organizations, members of informal groups of young people, representatives of local self-government, the institution's staff working with young people, volunteers and young people from the Lublin region for training on the programme of the European Commission - "Youth in Action". The meeting will take place from 17th till 18th February 2010 in Nasutow, near Lublin.
Our Project “Common past, common future: looking for a dialogue” won the award in the competition for German-Polish Youth Prize 2009 „To maintain the memory”. The project was the polish-german-ukrainian youth exchange organized from 29 of March till 5 of April 2009 together with partners: German-Polish Youth Academy from Münster (DPJA) and Nasha Sprava Centre from Luck. The Project was appreciated by the jury composed by: german and polish historians, journalists, members of Bundestag and Sejm, representatives of both ministries of youth issues, members of Polish-German Youth Council and the Board of Polish-German Youth Cooperation. The prize will be presented on the next meeting of the Polish-German Youth Council on 28 of January in Wrocław.
On 28 January in Wrocław the awards given by the German-Polish Youth Office for the best polish-german historical projects were given. The representative of the European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation Malte Koppe received the award from the vice-minister of education of Poland and from the minister of family issues in Germany.
