YEAR 2010 NEWS

On 3-4 of November Europe Direct – Lublin Information Point organized a training called" Youth Entrepreneurship". The participants were students from high schools and their teachers.

The aims of the trading were supporting the active attitudes of youth in planning and creating of their professional future in conjunctions with the possibilities which gives the participation of Poland in the European Union, strengthening the entrepreneurship among youth, developing of the abilities to adapt to the changing labour market conditions, showing the possible sources of knowledge and methods of using them in order to prepare for functioning on the labour market, working out the ability of self-presentation and effective search for work also on the European labour market, supporting schools in planning of education and professional career. 
The workshop were held simultaneously in 2 groups: teachers and students.

The training for teachers concentrated on following topics:

• What is entrepreneurship and how to teach it?
• Individual attitude towards teaching – methods and techniques
• Which young people's features should be enhanced so that they become enterprising?
• Professional self-presentation and communication - how to develop it
• Nonconventional techniques and activation exercises strengthening the integration and cooperation during the entrepreneurship classes
• Use of modern multimedia techniques

The training for students concentrated on following topics:

• Identification of strengths, skills and professional attitude
• Planning of the career path
• Self-presentation workshop
• Creativity workshop
• Entrepreneurship and the labour market

We trained in total over 50 persons from 17 schools from Lublin Region.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Europe Direct – Lublin Information Point invites representatives of high schools from Lubelskie Voivodship to take part in the training seminar "Youth entrepreneurship". Invited are teachers and students from the 3rd classes of high schools.

The aims of the trading are:

• supporting the active attitudes of youth in planning and creating of their professional future in conjunctions with the possibilities which gives the participation of Poland in the European Union,
• strengthening the entrepreneurship among youth, developing of the abilities to adapt to the changing labour market conditions,
• showing the possible sources of knowledge and methods of using them in order to prepare for functioning on the labour market,
• working out the ability of self-presentation and effective search for work also on the European labour market,
• supporting schools in planning of education and professional career.  

From each school we invite one teacher and two students. The workshops will take place separately for teachers and students. Registration forms should be sent by fax: 081 5346192 or e-mail:europe-direct@europe-direct.lublin.pl until 20 October. The registration order will decide of being accepted to the training.
