EUROPEAN MEETING CENTRE - NOWY STAW FOUNDATION
On 29 of September a group of more than 20 teachers from Ukraine visited Regional Centre for European Information in Lublin.
The participants of the meeting were young active teachers form small and media-sized localities from the whole Ukraine. The topic of the meeting concerned: the timetable of Poland`s entering to the EU, activities of RCIE Lublin on the local level and the cooperation with schools. The visit was organized by Association of Ukrainians in Poland in partnership with Institute for Political Education within the project "Ukrainian maisternia of European integration for teachers", with the support of Polish foreign aid program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the project is the improvement of understanding of perspectives and challenges connected with gaining membership in the EU by Ukraine among young Ukrainian teachers, awareness of the need to adapt to European standards and increase the quality of the discourse on Ukraine's integration with the West in this environment.
