A youth debate to the topic "Is it worth to study in Lublin?", on-line program in the internet television, film reportage and multimedia webblog – these are work results of participants from Akademia Złota 9 within the media camp.

48 pupils from the whole Lubelskie Region took part in the journalist-media workshop organized by the European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation in the conference centre Dom Nasutów. During one week of workshops the participants divided into working groups were learning how to write information and scripts, how to work with camera, edit movies, make live tv programs and create webblogs. They visited also the Polish Radio Lublin and Lublin Television.

At the end of the camp the young participants from Akademia Złota 9 prepared an oxford debate about "Is it worth to study in Lublin?". The pro and contra discussion was transmitted in the internet television. Moreover a movie about Akademia Złota 9 was presented – a result of work of the film group. On the webblog of Akademia appeared daily reports, feuilletons, photo stories and short movies documenting the media camp.

The trainings for young people were conducted by journalists and tv producers. Support and care provided Dominican Father Ludwik Wiśniewski, founder of Akademia Złota 9.

Akademia Złota 9 is a program of civic education for young people from high schools in Lubelskie Region. The Akademia is conducted together by the European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundatin and Dominican Convent in Lublin.
