Christian Social Week is a meeting place for: organizations, "Solidarność" trade union, movements, initiatives, informal groups, and individuals that enhance social justice in their communities. Honorary patrons of the Christian Social Week, are Archbishop Leszek Slawoj Głódź and President of Gdansk Pawel Adamowicz.
The third Christian Social Week will be held in Gdańsk From 5th till 7th of November 2010.
Christian Social Week will be devoted to main problems and challenges with Polish society is facing, such as education and upbringing, solidarity, poverty, local and regional development, employment rights, family policies, shaping the values of social and economic life in Poland.
We believe that the common reflection on those phenomena will allow us to propose creative solutions to important social issues.
The main theme of the Week will be principle of subsidiarity in relation to social and economic life after 20 years of political changes in Poland.
