Between 28th – 30th October 2010 in Lublin, 3rd Youth Debate entitled: "Young – excluded …?" is going to be held. The debate is for young people from Lublin Region, in the age between 15 – 19 years old.
This is second youth debate for young people from Lublin Region, organized by informal youth group called: "Youth outside the box", in cooperation with European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation. The debate is sequel of last year’s project "Young – creative", which was participated by many distinguished guests, experts, local authorities and NGO’s representatives.
It is expected, that about 110 people will participate in the project, mainly from secondary schools from Lublin Region. The main objective of the debate is to encourage young people to be active in many fields of social and political life, to strengthen social links and feeling of solidarity, to promote toleration in the European Union and to propagate informal education as a possibility for development.
Between 28th and 29th of October there will be preparations for the debate. Youth, in 5 groups, will be discussing their points of view in such subjects as:
1) Formal education in Poland and European Union
2) Informal education as a way of avoiding youth unemployment
3) Others … aliens?
4) Disintegration of moral values in 21st century
5) Young excluded in different enviroments
The debate, which will be participated by experts, local authorities and NGO’s representatives, starts on 30th October 2010 at 10.00 o’clock in Conference Hall s.31 in NOT – Lubelski Dom Technika, street Maria Skłodowska – Curie 3, Lublin.
Organizers cover travel costs to/from Lublin and accommodation for participants not from Lublin (in meeting centre in Nasutów near Lublin) and also food for all participants during whole debate.
