Between 28.12-05.01 young Germans, Poles and Belarusians will be attended by among others in dance and theater workshops. Europe- my home, Africa- my home, War in Biafra, Moonlight story those are the names of the main film productions made during November workshops in Ghana in Tamale. The seminar was realized within the “North south media bridge project” run in partnership between Bennohaus from Muesnter, our foundation, Kolping Association from Nigeria and Teppia from Ghana.

Study visit „Let's explore EVS potential” took place in Nasutów near Lublin between 6th and 11th of September involving participants from Turkey, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic, Austria and Poland.
Polish – German meeting took part between 9th and 19th of August. 12 people from Bonn and Dusseldorf and 12 from Lublin, spent first two days in Wrocław, where they got a chance to know each other and experience muliticultural atmosphere of the city. In European Meeting House in Nasutów, young German and Polish took part in the workshop run by German volunteers working in Poland.The subject of the workshop was a mutual experience of both nations and building the base for cooperation.
Polish – German – Hungarian youth exchange took place in European Meeting House in Nasutów between 4th of August and 16th of August 2009. Young people from Poland, Hungary and Germany took part in the third edition of the event. During the workcamp, they took care of World War I military cementaries in Strzeszkowice Duże and Opole Lubelskie.
Between 30th of August and 5th of September, young people from Germany, Poland and Ukraine will produce their citizenship acticity. During the international Exchange, young participants will learn the idea of the active citizenship and as a final effect, using their interest, they will create their own project.
Young people from Bulgaria and Poland are participants of „Set the clown free” project that is taking place in Nasutów near Lublin. For 8 days, starting Sunday 16th September, they will be learning how to juggle using very different objects such as scarfs, balls, bludgeons, hula hoops, plates. They'll also learn how to ride a one wheel bike.
Between 18 – 25 of July in European Meeting Centre Nowy Staw Foundation in Nasutów near Lublin. Youth from Poland and Germany met to learn how to spend the spare time in active and creative way and how to eat healthy. The main aim of the project was to inform participants about the value of sports and healthy diet in young people lives.
From 9 till 19 of August a german-polish youth exchange will take place. First two days the young participants will spend in Wrocław, where they will get to know the history of the city and will search for german traces in the city.
From 4 till 16 of August in Nasutów a youth exchange will take place, during which young people from Poland, Germany and Hungary will take care over soldiers` cemeteries from the I World War. This year young people will work on cemeteries in Strzeszkowice and Opole Lubelskie. They will also participate in the celebrations of blessing of two soldiers` cemeteries: in Świdnik and Strzeszkowice.

18 young people form German Münster, Byelorussian Minsk, Brest and Lublin met in Nasutów on 03.07.-09.07. The aim of this scholarship organized by European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Fundation was to run the media training.
On 22nd June 2009 the International Platform of Cooperation and Migration was established in Madrid (Spain). It was created by 21 NGOs from several countries from Europe and Latin America: Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Albania, Poland, Romania and Chile.
We have started realization of the project titled “Developmental tendencies…”. Currently we lead promotion activities of the project. The team of scientists participating in the project prepares methodology of analysis, studies and methods. It is going to begin an empirical part of project in July this year.
15 lessons with more than 200 participants, foreigners from four continents, a report about the project in TVP Lublin - the project „The Multicultural Face of Lublin” financed by the Municipality of Lublin proved to be a great success!

Polish-Lithuanian Youth Exchange is going to take place between June 27 and July 2, 2009 as the part of Polish-Lithuanian Youth Exchange Fund.

The volunteers of foreign origin from the Foundation present their country and culture in schools in Lublin as the participants of the current project „The Multicultural Face of Lublin”. We have pleasure to inform that the Chapter of the European Citizen’s Prize of the European Parliament granted the European Citizen’s Prize to Mr Tomasz Różniak, President of the European Meeting Center – Nowy Staw Foundation. The award had been granted due to the application of Prof. Zbigniew Zaleski Ph.D., a deputy of the European Parliament. The European Citizen’s Prize is granted to people and institutions, whose activity outstandingly support the promotion of larger mutual comprehension and the widening of the EU citizens’ integration, and finally support the transnational cooperation inside the European Union. Only the European representatives have the right to nominate the candidates.
Five years of Polish membership in the European Union are the time of significant success for Poland, said Ruprecht Polenz, the president of Foreign Affairs Commission in Bundestag, during a conference organized in Muenster by Muenster-Lublin Partnership Association, Franz-Hitze Haus Academy and European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation. Tomasz Rozniak, the president of European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation, had also a share in the mentioned discussion.

Lublin has a multicultural past and present time. This statement has been the key for organizing “5 colours exhibition”, issued by the European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation, on European Center of Youth Coopeartion initiative. For more than one month, the youth from Poland, Germany and Ukraine worked together on the exhibition. The big opening of “5 Colours” Exibition took place on May 29th, 2009 in the Culture Centre LSM at 6.00 p.m.

The ceremony was opened by the simulation of European Parliament’s debate. The overall aim of this event was: the celebration of 5th Anniversary of Polish Accession to the European Union, propagation of EU knowledge – the structure and working process of the European Union main bodies, especially of the European Parliament. 15 youngsters from Schönefeld in Brandenburg and 20 young people from gimnazijum in Niemce and Krasienin met between the 18th and 26th of April in Nasutów to learn more about the Second World War.

The 5th of April was the last day for the youth exchange in Nasutów and Lublin in which youth from Münster (Germany), Luck (Ukraine) and lubelskie region took part.
Between the 18th and the 26th of April the Polish-German youth exchange “Learn more about Second World War through testimonies” takes place in Nasutów. Ten youngsters between 12 and 15 from Niemce and Krasienin meet a group of teenagers from German partner organization Kreissportbund Dahme-Spreewald e.V.
Youth from Münster (Germany), Luck (Ukraine) and lubelskie region will meet together in Nasutów and Lublin during a youth exchange, which will take place between March 29th and April 5th. The project “Common past, common future: looking for a dialogue” aims to facilitate getting to know culture and history of our neighbours and will be a platform for looking for a dialogue in discussion on historic and political topics by means of numerous integration workshops, language animation, debates and simulation workshops.
In april we are going to begin the project “Working graduate”. We invite to participation in the project young people from the lubelskie voiwodeship, 25 years old, not employed, at least with secondary education. In our project we offer various workshops, individual consultancy with career counselors, professional training in chosen area (administrative –office, financial – accountant, marketing , computer graphics and websites creation, management of the Europeans projects,) and professional traineeship by employer.
We invite you to participate in training within the project "Vote for Europe," which will be held from 15th till 16 April 2009 in Nasutow near Lublin. Training is dedicated to the upcoming elections to the European Parliament. Participants will learn about the objectives and working principles of the institution of European Parliament, as well as methods to encourage young people to take interest in European issues and the upcoming elections to the European Parliament.
Youth from Münster (Germany), Luck (Ukraine) and lubelskie region will meet together in Nasutów and Lublin during a youth exchange, which will take place between March 29th and April 5th.
On Friday 20th March started 2-days long meeting inaugurating new programme – Local Leader, realised by Academy “Złota 9”. There were a lot of young willing people – 65 persons from whole Lubelskie voivodship. The meeting took place in a training and conference centre „Dom Nasutów” in Nasutów near Lublin. A special guest, Adam Pęzioł visited us there. Mr. Pęzioł is a former vice Minister of Finance and current chairman of Delegature of Supreme Chamber of Control in Lublin, who told us about his career and his service for Poland and our region. He also answered few questions asked by participants – mainly about current economic situation of our country.

From 1 March Foundation Nowy Staw will be hosting Nadja – young girl from Germany who will stay in the Foundation for 3 months doing a practice supported by Leonardo Programme. The team of international co-workers will therefore enlarge – in our office there are already Laura from Estonia, Malte from Germany and Ricardo from Portugal. From March they will be four.
The Youth4Media association (Y4M) established the first all-European internet television programme produced by volunteers called diverCity! “But we reach further”, explains Michał Wójcik, vice-chairman of Y4M. “We want to create a web platform serving as a true community media TV channel with similar broadcasts from all across Europe”, he says.
