We kindly invite for the opening of the exhibition „5 COLOURS” in the Culture Centre LSM on May 29th at 18:00.
Lublin has a multicultural past and present, which quite often escape our notice.
Trace of different cultures – these are not only limited to monuments, old buildings and churches. In the era of globalization even a shop of an international chain contributes elements of a different culture.
An important part of the activities was also a documentation of tracks of Ukrainian and German culture in Lublin which are part of the multicultural past of the city. The results of this work were publicly presented in “a moving exhibition”, which appeared on the streets of Lublin on April 2nd. It is also planned to create a permanent exhibition of which details will be soon revealed.
German, Ukrainian and Polish youth during the meeting ”Common past, common future: looking for a dialogue” in Nasutów and Lublin between March 29th and April 5th tried to document traces of Ukrainian and German culture in Lublin which are part of the multicultural past and present of the city, “the city between west and east”. The results of this work were publicly presented in “a moving exhibition”, which appeared on the streets of Lublin on April 2nd.
