Lublin has a rich multicultural history, which needs to be better promoted! Even today, a lot of people of foreign origin and other cultures are living in Lublin. But sometimes their contact to the Polish or other foreigners is limited. We want to change that! Lublin is multicultural and it makes people united. All foreigners living in Lublin are welcomed in our project! Introduce your origin & culture!

How?
You present your country, culture and religion in schools and local culture centers. The presentation should take about 45 minutes, but not longer as one hour. Maybe you can give a language session and teach the pupils your mothertongue, or let them taste the traditional food of your country. It’s all up to you, you decide what you want to share with others!

Yes! I want to take part!
Contact Malte Koppe (m.koppe@eds-fundacja.pl) to confirm your participation. Than prepare a short offer of the presentation you want to give. Send it to us as soon as possible, and we will forward it to schools and culture centers. They can choose which presentation(s) they’d like to have. So by June 10th, you’ll know when and where you can hold your presentation.

Questions you might have

Who is paying the expenses I have?
- Don’t worry about that, the Foundation can refund up to 300 Zl of your expenses. Just ask us for our business data to receive a Polish invoice.
I don’t speak Polish, can I take part?
- Of course! When giving your presentation, one of the employees or volunteers of Nowy Staw Foundation will accompany you and translate.
Can you help me find some ideas for the presentation?
- Yes! Just contact us and we’ll give you tons of ideas!
