YEAR 2009 NEWS

In February (08 - 15.02.2009) young people from all over Europe will visit Lviv. A group of volunteers from France, Germany, Poland, Bielarus, Georgia and Ukraine (Lutsk) will discover Lviv and Jaremche. During a week time youth exchange the youngsters will get acquainted with Ukrainian culture and will visit interesting places in Lviv.

Moreover, 36 young people will work on creation of Lviv tourist guide which will help tourists to get about the town and find interesting places to visit. Youth will also create a series of short films about Lviv and the Carpathean region. These films will add to the promotion of Lviv as one of the host citites of Euro 2012. The most important task of the youngsters will be to check whether or not Lviv is ready to receive fans and organize football matches.

This youth project is financed in the framework of the Youth in Action
Program and is organized by Centre Nasha Sprava from Lutsk and
a European Association Youth4Media e.V.
