Swiatyj Weczir, der Heilige Abend, Wigilia, these are concepts which, in three languages, Polish, German and Ukrainian are the same and are an inseparable part of Christmas.
Prosfora, Christmas goose, carp, Wareniki, beetroot soup, wafer. What is a typical Christmas in Germany, Poland and Ukraine? What habits are nurtured in these three countries? What are the carols songs at Christmas?
During the workshops, cooking and making Christmas ornaments youth participants from Lutsk, Merseburg, and Lublin on 16.12-21.12 in the European Youth Meeting in Nasutowie will seek answers to these and some other questions about Christmas traditions.
In an exchange of planned workshops are not only recipes, visit the parish of the Protestant and Greek-Catholic, but also discussions and workshops called "Opportunities and threats to cultural identity in a globalizing world". The final effect of the project will be jointly prepared three nations Christmas Eve evening, crowned joint carol singing and presentation of Polish, German and Ukrainian Christmas cribs.
