On 1 May we started a new project "Start a business ". Participants are unemployed women with disabilities living in Lubelskie Region in chełmski, hrubieszowski, włodawski, lubartowski and opolski districts who want to start a business.
NGO Master project which started in previous year is going to the end. Almost 120 participants have graduated with great success.
We cordially invite for the opening of the exhibition of the 50 best photos of the churches from two partner cities – Lublin and Münster. The exhibition will be opened on Wednesday 13th November at 10.00 in Lublin City Hall. During the ceremony we will give awards to authors of 3 best photos.
Between 10 and 15 October European Meeting Centre hosted 12 youth workers from all over Europe. Our Foundation organized Partnership Building Activity financed by Youth in Action Programme.
International youth exchange „Youth media activation” is organized by European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation in order to promote dialogue between Polish and Lithuanian nation as well as promote active attitudes among young people.
European School Clubs met in Lublin for the 13th time already. Conference took place at 8th October and was devoted to European Year of Citizens. Teachers and students of schools from Lubelskie Region took part in the meeting.
For the 88th time, the French Social Week invites to Strasbourg. The applications are welcomed by the 11 th October.

This years` Congress of Eastern Europe Initiatives was full of interesting events. One of them was the debate “Eastern Partnership – civil society: cooperation, development, challenges” organized by Regional Centre of International Debate in Lublin.
Thanks to our project “Professional courses and internships for the disabled – II” all project participants of the first and second edition are conducting their internships.
Youth Entrepreneurship, business management, youth employment package, education and European perspective for the Balkans and Ukraine. All these topics were covered at the 8th Economic Forum of Young Leaders, which took place from between 3rd and 6th of September in Nowy Sącz, Poland.

Beetween 13th and 19th September in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów a youth exchange took place.
The Media Camp is to bring together people from different countries in Europa (Ukraine, Poland, Germany and Spain) to get the following objectives: to obtain new media skills related to video camera, films, sound and editing and to make aware all the citizens in the world about the current problems related to racism and discrimination.
The project entitled ‘Foreign policy in youth’s perspective’ is directed at young people between 18 and 30 years old from all Poland’s voivodeships. The participants of the project will consist of young leaders of non-governmental organizations, informal groups, social organizations, young scientists, young entrepreneurs and representatives of youth’s associations cooperating with political parties.

International training course „Youth Mediatraining for employability & inclusion” took place in Nasutów near Lublin in Poland from 28th of May till 6th June 2013. The project brought 25 people from Poland, Denmark, Finland,Great Britain, Spain and Greece who are workers in organisations conetcted to the youth. They were working together with trainers about media and youth work.
Between 22-24 May we organized an international seminar on reconciliation between work and family life. The seminar took place at Catholic University of Lublin. Its participants were trade unionists from Poland, Chech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Germany.

This year we celebrated Europe Day also sportily. On May 12 we organized a European Cycle Picnic. Cyclists rode from Lublin to Nasutów, where we held a picnic.

International seminar on reconciliation between work and family life and the consequences of the lack of balance between these spheres will be held from 22-24 May at the Catholic University of Lublin. We encourage representatives of trade unions and work organizations to participate.

Europe Direct – Lublin organized a training about the possibilities of gaining European funds for representatives of NGOs from Lublin Region. The training took place on 17 April 2013.

12 participants from Poland and 14 participants from Germany will meet in June. The German guests want to get to know Polish people and to learn Polish language, to see our country and to learn about history of Polish-German relations.
Computer courses for all project participants were started in April 2013. The internships for the first edition participants are in progress.
By decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in place of a functioning structure of Regional Centre for European Information a new network has been established Regional Centres for International Debate. Regional Centre`s for International Debate in Lublin and Gdańsk will be run by European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation.
During the weekend of 22-25 March we had the pleasure to welcome participants of the preparatory visit of the project "Where are we going?” that we are realizing in the frames of the Youth in action programme. The aim was to familiarize participants with the international exchange of ideas, which we will implement in late April and early May in Lublin and Nasutów. The visit was attended by 10 persons from the Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Turkey.
Economic Forum of Young Leaders is the largest meeting of the leaders of the young generation in the European Union in the socio-economic area. Forum`s successes in recent years allow us to constantly develop and improve the form of the event. In the VIII Forum more than 350 participants from 42 countries will participate. FEML is the official program of the Economic Forum in Krynica.
We invite you to participate in a free training project “NGO Master” - for NGOs. We offer 122 hours of training, including: 7 sessions away on weekends (in the period May-October) and consultation with the tutor. In March 2012 participants of the second edition of the project "Time for Activity" start 5-month internships. It will be an opportunity to practice the knowledge and skills acquired during the training.
The first group of participants began the project. The project is addressed to 60 unemployed people living in Podlasie region in communes: Dobrzyniewo Duże, Juchnowiec Kościelny, Poświętne, Supraśl, Suraż, Turośń Kościelna, Tykocin, Zabłudów, Zawady, Janów, Korycin, Szudziałowo, Sidra, Nowy Dwór, Kuźnica, Suchowola.
For the eighth time International Job Fair were held in Lublin. This time also our Foundation was present there.
We started the "Act and Communicate" project activities funded by the Youth in Action Program. On March 9th the initiative group met at a media workshop, so that they could implement the film productions planned in the project.
The project "Logistics Academy" aimed at businesses in the Lublin Province is under way. Since November 2012 the project "Logistics Academy" aimed at entrepreneurs in the Lublin Province is under way. The goal of the project is to raise as well as adapt the qualifications of 80 persons - employees of businesses in the field of modern regional farming.
On 15 February 2013 enrollment for the second edition for the project "Professional courses and internships for the disabled – II edition" was concluded. Three schooling groups were formed.
Dance-workshops, which took place in Blossin were successfully completed. In one-week’s time 17 people took part in the workshops.
Spring is coming soon. It is time to wake up from winter sleep and begin to be active. On Wednesday, March 13 at 16.00 in Kawiarnio-Księgarnia Spółdzielnia spring meeting was held for the volunteers of the Foundation.

The training will be organized in Conference and Training Centre of European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation in Nasutów near Lublin on the 17 April 2013.
On 25-28 February first meeting of partners of the project „ImpleMentoring City-to-city support for migrant integration” took place. The organizer of the project is the network of European cities Eurocities. Representatives of city offices and NGOs met in Brussels to discuss about the joint project that concerns the integration of migrants in different cities.
