European School Clubs met in Lublin for the 13th time already. Conference took place at 8th October and was devoted to European Year of Citizens. Teachers and students of schools from Lubelskie Region took part in the meeting.
Participants learned about European Year of Citizens, which rights do European citizens have and what is the Charter of Fundamental Rights.
The conference visited Mr. Rafał Rudnicki from the European Commission Representation in Poland who told about the offer of European Commission for school clubs and encouraged young people to vote in elections for the European Parliament.
Other guests of the conference were 2 Spaniards who are making European voluntary service in Lublin that is possible thanks to the European Union.
At the end Mateusz Małyska, vice-president of the Foundation Sempre a Frente presented youth initiatives that are taking place in Lublin and encouraged young people to get involved in many interesting and developing initiatives.
In the programme there were also some competitions on the knowledge about European Year of Citizens and general knowledge about the EU.
