YEAR 2013 NEWS

Thanks to our project “Professional courses and internships for the disabled – II” all project participants of the first and second edition are conducting their internships.

In June 2013 most of our participants of the first edition have extended their internships for an additional 3 months.

In 2 July 2013 all project participants of the second edition finished their vocational workshops of computer graphic and office administration. The certificates of completion of their vocational workshops and of raising their professional qualification were issued.

Following this, our participants were looking for internships consistent with their vocational courses. The majority of them started their internships in July 2013. On 28 August 2013 the last internship contract and scholarship was signed. All our participants are conducting their internships at the employers whom they chose. They will acquire practical skills to work in positions of office administration and computer graphics. After conducting inspections, we noted that employers are satisfied with their interns.

September is the last month of internships for those participants of the first edition who extended their internships. Internships for the second edition participants will run until February 2014.

Four of our participants have been hired.

The project “Professional courses and internships for the disabled – II”, is aimed at helping 60 disabled people (40 women and 20 men) aged 15-64, unemployed or not active in the working field in the Podkarpackie Voivodship.

The goal of the project is to increase the employability and chances in the working field of 60 disabled and unemployed people. The project takes place between 1st March 2012 and 28th February 2014.
