7th Economic Forum of Young Leaders

7th Economic Forum of Young Leaders will be held between 3rd and 7th September 2012 in Nowy Sącz.Young leaders from all over Europe will meet in Poland to create ideas for the future of Europe.

Economic Forum of Young Leaders is a platform for dialogue, experience exchange and establishing contacts between young people from the European Union, the Balkans, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. The main message of the Forum is to create ideas for the future of Europe, a meeting place is Poland as a natural bridge between East and West.

Each year the Forum brings together eminent personalities from the worlds of politics, economy and science. In previous years Forum guests were among others: Mikhail Saakashvili (Georgian President), Jose Maria Aznar (former Prime Minister of Spain), Giorgi Baramidze (Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia), Jan Krzysztof Bielecki (former Prime Minister 1991-93), Danuta Hübner (European Commissioner for Regional Policy), Milan Kučan (President of Slovenia in the years 1990-2002), Janusz Lewandowski (EU Commissioner for the Budget), Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz (Prime Minister in 2005-2006), Aleksander Milinkevich (leader of the Movement for Freedom, Belarus).

Forum beside lectures, panel discussions and presentations of companies and regions, is also a place of informal meetings, business evenings, cultural events in which young leaders can directly exchange their experiences and establish new business contacts. The forum is also a program of political education for young leaders in Europe.

The variable history of the German states

European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation invites interested students to participate in the Polish-German exchange in Düsseldorf and Weimar.
Our German hosts from ESG Düsseldorf want to show us traces of Goethe and Schiller in Weimar, as well as the architectural tradition of the Bauhaus, while in North Rhine-Westphalia - the functioning of the University and the industrial district, which is the Ruhr. All this is combined with workshops and the opportunity to meet and get to know interesting people.

Requirements: at least a basic knowledge of German or English

Individual psychological support and counseling

On 27 July 2012 Individual psychological support and counseling has begun. Also the workshop activisation for the I group was concluded.In July all participants of the project participated in two sessions of individual psychological support and counseling.
Also in July the workshop activisation for the I group was concluded. Workshop activisation for the remaining two groups will be held in August.
