European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation
Values in the work and in trade union’s activities
Nowy Staw Foundation is a partner in an international cycle of trainings for young trade union leaders from Poland, Spain, Portugal and Italy. The course organized by the Foundation runs from 9th until 15th of October. Its topic is ethics in work and trade union activities.
Conflicts of values, axiology of work, liberalism and capitalism towards work, human rights and social rights, specific issues referring to negotiations led by trade unions, ethic and efficiency in negotiations, axiology of the European Union in the context of the worker's rights – these are the topics of the training.
The participants of the training are young representatives of NSZZ „Solidarność” as well as young trade unionists from south Europe: Spain, Portugal and Italy.

RCIE Lublin
The European Year of Volunteering in Lublin
In connection with the celebration of European Year of Volunteering 2011, in the beautiful scenery of the Lublin Old Town Urban Family Welfare Centre in Lublin and the Catholic Association of assisting the needy "AGAPE" organized a festival "Enrich yourself by helping others."
The festival was held on 29 September 2011. During the festival several organizations promoted the idea of volunteering, encouraged residents of Lublin to get involved in activities in their free time for other, and exchanged experiences.
Apart from that visitors could take part in several competitions, and watch different performances. The star of the show was Sambasim a percussion band with plays afro brazilian rhythms.

European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation
Youth in Action Programme
Since September 2011 European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation is a Training Centre for Youth in Action Programme for Mazowieckie Region. This is our second training centre after one in Lublin, established in 2007.
Within the Centre and Regional Consultant work, our Foundation offers free consultations on creating, implementing and financing youth projects within Youth in Action Programme, home and away information meetings, as well as free trainings.

Training „Youth entrepreneurship”
Over 50 teachers and pupils from 19 schools were trained within the project ”Youth entrepreneurship”. A lot of schools were interested to take part in the project.
The aims of the trading were supporting the active attitudes of youth in planning and creating of their professional future in conjunctions with the possibilities which gives the participation of Poland in the European Union, strengthening the entrepreneurship among youth, developing of the abilities to adapt to the changing labour market conditions, showing the possible sources of knowledge and methods of using them in order to prepare for functioning on the labour market, working out the ability of self-presentation and effective search for work also on the European labour market, supporting schools in planning of education and professional career.

RCIE Lublin
Competition and exhibition "Poland in the European Union"
Apart from organizing the educational path "Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union", we organized an art competition for children. The organizers of the competition were Polish National Bank Regional Branch in Lublin, Lublin Voivodeship Office and the Regional Centre of European Information in Lublin.
Entrants were asked to present their idea of Poland in European Union. They could prepare A2 paper in every technique. In order to participate in the contest participants had to have a special ticket confirming participation in the summer meeting of the euro NBP Regional Branch in Lublin and in the summer meeting in the Lublin Voivodeship office.

French Social Week
For the 86th time, the French Social Week invites to Paris. The applications are welcomed by the 11th October.
We invite all interested people to take part in the French Social Week in Paris26- 28 November 2011. The main subject is democracy. This is already the 86 th session of the Week. The Semaines Sociales de France are:

European Centre of Youth Co-operation
Dance-workshops
The Polish-German-Lithuanian Dance-Workshops will take place in Blossin between 7th and 14th October.
This project is the common initiative of Europejski Dom Spotkań- Fundacja Nowy Staw in Lublin and the organisation Jugendbildungszentrum Blossin e.V.
The main project objective involves facilitating communication between participants of the same age by means of dance. The participants will take part in dance-workshops as well as they will get to know the capital city of Germany better during the city-game.

The method training on "group phases" and "group dynamic" carried out during the international youth exchangesy
etween 28th October and 1th November the Polish-German specialized training will take place. The training concerns such topics as group building, group phases and group dynamic as well as the role of trainer in work with a group.
The training is aimed at persons who work or want to work
in informal education in the future as well as want to gain a deeper insight into the group dynamic while working with international youth. Basic elements of group structure such as communication, norms, goals and roles will be both discussed and used. During the workshop, participants will have the possibility to try out and analyze the methods
on the basis of different situations which can happen in a group or while working with a group.
Participants will work in international teams. Under the trainer’s supervision, they will observe and try out various phases and processes which occur in international groups.

Training Course “Activate Youth” successfully finished!
Between 24th – 30th September in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów an international Training Course “Activate Youth” took place. It was the first meeting realized within multimeasure project “Towards active participation”.
Activate Youth training course was organized in order to gather youth workers from partner countries such as: Italy, Estonia, Greece, Portugal, Latvia, Romania, Lithuania and Poland and gain some new knowledge about activating young people in their work.

Two participants for international training course needed!
Between 3rd – 10th November in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów an international training course for youth leaders, entitled Acting Youth will be held. It is another meeting organized within multimeasure project.
The training activity is designed for active on local level young leaders without previous experience in Youth in Action programme. The main aim of the Training Course is to obtain by participants knowledge on Youth in Action programme and to make them understand of their active role on each project phase. During the 7 days of training young leaders will be working on their personal development in terms of gaining leadership and communication skills. They will gain practical knowledge on group dynamic processes and will become familiar with peer education cenception.

On 21-22 of September Europe Direct – Lublin Information Point invites to a training called” Youth entrepreneurship”. We invite students from high schools and their teachers.
The aims of the training are:
