YEAR 2015 NEWS

On 14-18 June we host a group of 15 young leaders from Brest in Belarus, winners of the Academy of volunteering "Be Volunteer" conducted by our partner organization Dzedzich from Brest.

Participants of the academy for almost a year gained specific competencies and skills necessary for social work and the work of non-governmental organizations in Belarus. In particular, they learned how to work with volunteers, how to motivate them and to reward. They organized a volunteer fair in Brest and familiarized residents with the offer of NGOs operating in the city.

During the study visit in Lublin participants will learn more about the experiences and activities of the Polish NGO sector and will directly observe the way volunteering does in Poland. Among the organizations presented in Lublin will be representatives of different sectors and activities: cultural and social organizations, organizations that deal with the care of people with disabilities, integration of seniors and support for children from poor families.
