YEAR 2014 NEWS

In historical Hall of OSH held academic workshops Cogito Ergo Sum “XXV years of independence - safety of the Republic of Poland”.

Among the invited guests were: Eugeniusz Król – The Institute of Political Studies of The Polish Academy of Sciences, Bogdan Borusewicz – Speaker of the Sejm, Tadeusz Fiszbach – former Ambassador in Latvia, General Zbigniew Nowek – former head of the UOP, Maria Przełomiec – TVP Info and representatives of the Internal Security Agency.

The panelists were unanimous that the events in Ukraine have changed the polish approach to defence. Events in Kiev pointed out that democracy, although it is more ubiquitous than ever before, and its accompanying are constantly appealing, the future of the countries in transition, including Ukraine, is very uncertain.

The meeting was attended by over 100 people.
