EUROPEAN MEETING CENTRE - NOWY STAW FOUNDATION
Over 150 people from primary, middle and secondary schools of the province of Lublin took part in the fourteenth Congress of the European School Clubs.
This event was held on 17 October 2014. In the Blue Hall of the Lublin Regional Office in Lublin. The purpose of the meeting was to educate young people associated in the European School Clubs and classes in the field of European integration in Europe. The theme of the Fourteenth Congress was the tenth anniversary of the Polish accession to the European Union. Our young guests were greeted by Mr. Wojciech Wilk Lublin Governor and Ms. Anna Szczepińska vice – curator of education for Lublin province. Representatives of the Regional Centre For International Debates in Lublin and Europe Direct - Lublin summarized 10 years of Polish membership in European Union.
Participants of the congress also listen to the presentation made by Mr Mateusz Małyska, Vice President of the Sempre a Frente Foundation, who described the possibility of Erasmus + addressed to young people. Ms Anna Boguta shared her impressions of the half-year stay at one of the Hungarian university. In her speech, she encouraged guests to this type of travel. In addition, the meeting was attended by volunteers from Latvia and Spain, who came to the Polish under the "Erasmus + European Voluntary Service (EVS)".
