Regional Centre for International Debates of Lublin organized a number of training courses for young people to participate in LV the competition about Poland and the modern world.
The actions covered secondary schools in the province of Lublin, inter alia in Lublin, Chelm, Zamosc, Tomaszów Lubelski, Krasnymstaw, Radzyni Podlaski and Biała Podlaska.
During the meetings, the youth got insight in the most important dates and events connected with the Polish accession to the European Union and the historical background of this period. In addition, our consultants drew stages of the accession process Polish, effects of membership and the prospects for further development of Poland arising from membership. Students also got information about the opportunities to finance activities with funds of particular operational programs.
Among guests invited to the conference were Boris Klimchuk, Volyn Oblast Governor and Mikhail Juchimuk, who represented District Brzeski.
The conference was intended to summarize the so far work and present the draft strategy for 2014-2020, that begins the process of public consultation. During the meeting, discussions were also carried out on the experience of the partner regions. Moreover the development of the strategy was attended by the staff of the Regional Centre for International Debates of Lublin. This project was co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
