Nowy Staw Foundation is a partner in an international cycle of trainings for trade union leaders from Poland, Lithuania and Romania. The course organized by the Foundation and Akademia Ignatianum runs from 14th until 20th of October. Its topic is leadership and research in workers organizations.
The main topic will be the management - base and management models, how to manage the trade union, trade union role in various models of management, how to be a union leader, qualities of a good leader of the trade union, leadership tasks at different levels of trade union organization, motivation and promotion of leaders, as well as the Jesuit model of leadership.
Another important topic will be the methods of social research - social research design in the trade unions and interpretation of research results.
The participants of the training are leaders of NSZZ „Solidarność” as well as trade unionists from Lithuania and Romania.
We want to present to our guests from abroad the historical role of trade union in the overthrow of communism, for that reason there will be a meeting with Mr. Józef Mozolewski, one of the chairmen of NSZZ “Solidarność”.
The participants will also visit Lublin and Warsaw.
