Between 8th – 12th June an international journalism Project will take place in European Meeting Centre In Nasutów. 26 young journalists from Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland will participate in this event.
German organization Aktuelles forum is the organizer of his project. The idea to create this internet newspaper was one of them, and this was launched in 2006. The main aim of this project was to create a ‘Young European Public’ and to promote peaceful living in a Democratic Europe.
This was one of the first slogans of EYV. Subscribers could write their own texts for this European internet newspaper/magazine about young people and for young people in Europe. Every month there used to be a main topic of interest. This method did not deem satisfactory after a short while and was discarded.
Meeting in Lublin and Nasutów will be another seminar, during which participants will take part in: radio workshops led by journalists from Radio Lublin, debate: “How do European politicians use Twitter and blogs, workshops on writing on-line, recording audio-pieces for radio and photo-reportages.
During the project participants will also visit Majdanek – former Nazi concentration camp and Lublin.
