YEAR 2008 NEWS

Europe Direct-Lublin, the European Information Centre in Lublin invites entrepreneurs from all over Lublin Voivodeship for a training committed to possibilities of funding projects by micro, small and medium enterprises as part of the new budget perspective of the UE in years 2007-2013. The training will be held in the Training and Conference Centre of the European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation in Nasutów close to Lublin, Nasutów 98A (www.eds-fundacja.pl) on the 3rd of October 2008.

Structural funds of the European Union in years 2007-2013 are a great chance for development for the Polish entrepreneurs. We realize, however, that there is a great demand for knowledge and detailed information about the new budget period of the EU and the possibilities of using the new Structural Funds by Entrepreneurs. During the training, you will receive information on:

1. The Presentation of the Lublin Voivodeship Regional Operation Programme
   
2. Financial Resources of the Lublin Voivodeship Regional Operation programme
   
3. EU financial resources for small firms. Using the EU structural funds for starting and developing one's own enterprise.
   
4. Good practices.
   

After the end of the training participants will have a chance for direct individual consultations with a trainer, a specialist in the area of Structural Funds for self-governments in Poland. You will be able to ask for advice and detailed information concerning projects run by your firm as part of the EU structural funds. Moreover, the coordinator will be on call in Europe Direct Centre.

The training is free of charge. The cost of meals for participants and the teaching materials is covered by the organizer. The organizer does not cover the cost of travel to the Training and Conference Centre. The training is co-financed by the European Commission and the European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation in Lublin, where the Europe Direct Centre operates as part of the European Commission's Information Network.

We only have a limited number of free places, which will be distributed on a first come-first served basis.
